I entered the Australian Food Awards again this year (July 2016) and am thrilled with the results! Winning 2 GOLD medals for my Gluten Free Salted Caramel with Macadamia Baked Cheesecake and my Traditional Baked Cheesecake, plus BRONZE for my Gluten Free Apple Pie.
In September (2016) I entered 4 categories in the Great Aussie Pie Competition held at the Fine Food Expo. I was thrilled to come home with 4 medal placements for all entries. Our Gluten Free Apple Pie and GF Apple with Raspberry both won GOLD, our regular Apple and (New) Toffee Apple both won SILVER.
I am very proud of these achievements. It has been wonderful to receive such high Nation wide recognition for my home made pies and cheesecake. In total we have proudly won 11 accolades in the last 3 years. A great achievement for a small home business/baker.
